Mandala painting is a true form of meditation, fostering inner harmony as the mandala emerges through the participants' creative process.

The workshop provides a gentle introduction to the left brain hemisphere, unveiling its capacity to open each of us to the creative experience. Participants join the workshop as individuals, yet the mandala binds the group together. As we work collectively, each artist reveals a beautiful, meditative, and radiant mandala.

No prior experience is necessary, as the workshop technique has been simplified to accommodate both beginners and advanced creatives. This allows everyone to experience completing a mandala or another sacred image.

Participants from all over Philadelphia, Delaware and Suburbs, ranging from ages 18 to 93 and of all artistic levels, have enjoyed this workshop.

"Mandalas represent more than just meditation objects; they are vibrant fields of consciousness, expressing vibrational energy"

On this workshop, you'll indulge in a four-hour extraordinary teahouse experience

You are welcome to visit anytime between 1pm to 4pm

Workshop start time is 1pm ending at 3pm. We will lock the door once the workshop starts. Please arrive on time

Kim Lucas is a Delaware native and artist specializing in acrylic mandala paintings. While earning her Master's degree in Nursing in 2014, she participated in an art course on a whim and fell in love.

Since then, Kim has won "Most Inventive" with her 'Gates to Heaven' painting and her art is displayed in galleries and stores. In 2023 Kim began hosting art workshops and now hosts them in several different venues.

These workshops include (but are not limited to) mandala painting, terrarium making, wreath making and candle making. She has developed her passion for art into a small business, Kim Lucas Art, under which she hosts events and is a vendor at various festivals and craft fairs. In 2024 Kim became the sole producer of Art Battle Philadelphia in hopes of bringing the community and artists together. While continuing her 17 years as a hospice nurse, Kim would love to be more involved with hospice patients and families, bringing therapy and respite to them in art form.
