Silent Reading Circle (Book Club)

Sunday Monthly meetings 1-4pm

Not all book lovers are introverts, and not all introverts are book lovers, but there’s certainly a strong connection between the two. While some introverted readers might enjoy a traditional book club where a single book is discussed in depth, others prefer a more flexible approach.

Too much structured discussion may feel overwhelming, but that doesn’t mean they don’t crave a sense of literary community.

Silent Reading Circle (Book Club) is an intentional space for book lovers to socialize as little or as much as works for them.

We begin with a casual social hour, followed by a peaceful hour of silent reading. Then, we gather once more to chat—this time, not about a predetermined book, but about the books we each brought.

Stay and chat as long as you like between 1-4pm, or head out once you’ve had your fill of literary connection.

Silent reading gatherings, create a space where book lovers can enjoy the company of others without the pressure of assigned reading. 

The goal is simple: find a cozy place, bring a book of your choice or use one from the Nook, and enjoy uninterrupted reading time, followed by open-ended conversations with fellow readers.

Join us for an opportunity to be social while still immersing yourself in the reading experience—a space where you can relax, enjoy a book, meet new people, and share your thoughts without the pressure of structured discussions or assigned reading.

The book club is primarily for adults, but parents are welcome to attend with their teenage children. Mature teens may participate if accompanied by a parent or guardian. Tickets are required for all attendees

Because of the limited seating and small group dynamic of the Silent Reading Circle, we will not be offering refunds or accommodations  for missed attendance. You are welcome to give your ticket to a friend or family member and we will verify the purchaser’s name at check in.
